Last night my four lovely men took me out for Mother's Day dinner. We went to The Melting Pot in downtown Ann Arbor.
The kids seemed to like putting food in the fondue pot, yet they didn't understand the concept of eating it afterward.
It was a fun experience. As many of our friends and family know, we don't like to eat out with our young boys for obvious reasons. Oddly, it wasn't too bad. Giuseppe was mellow the entire dinner. Vincenzo was mostly contained, yet he had his moments. Especially when he thought it was cool to climb up on the back of the booth and slide down over and over.
Rocco wasn't happy that none of the fondue food was acceptable for an infant, not to mention the pokers were a danger to him and the heat from the pot could have been harmful.
The dinner was concluded with an awesome snickers chocolate. Yum!
Yet the best part was that I got to spend it with my completed family. And even though dinner is over, being a mother never will be.
In this blog, that has been around since 2008, I have tried to keep it updated but mostly I've provided periodic snippets into our home. The main goal of this blog is for Andy and I to have a place to store our memories.
