The highlight of my day is pretty much the most wonderful part of motherhood so far.
A combination of Vincenzo, Rocco and/or myself wait at the front porch for Giuseppe to come home from school on the bus.
As soon as we see Giuseppe, he begins to run home. Once the bus has cleared the road I let my other boys run to Giuseppe.
It is like a love scene in a movie when two long-lost lovers run through a meadow with open arms.
Once they meet Giuseppe picks up his brothers one at a time and spins them around.
It is heart-melting.
