They were once so small

What will Baby Earl look like?

Both pictures were taken at St. Joseph's Hospital in Ann Arbor when they were a mere 2 days old.

Me, me... all about me!

I went to the doctor a few days ago.

Everything is going well.

However, the doctor determined why I have been in so much pain lately. Can't even walk or stand up without having to take a breather. (If you recall... I coached soccer during Vincenzo's pregnancy up until the last day with no complaints of discomfort.)

Well, the baby has moved his head down into the birth canal AND I have started to slightly dialate. What does this mean? Probably nothing, but wishful thinking has me hoping for an early delivery. But the doc says it really could mean nothing.

In the meantime, I have asked my mom to take Vincenzo next week so I can get a break from running after him while I am stuck with this bowling ball in my birth canal.

Any other takers? I still have 40 days.

The scheduled c-section is still on for Thursday, July 23. We are all anxiously awaiting.

Pregnancy, week 30

Check out this photo of me and my BIG belly.
Face was cropped out since no pregnant woman likes what pregnancy does to her face... seriously.

I had a doctor's appointment earlier this week. Everything is fine.

Only a few issues were brought up:
  1. I have been short of breath for no apparent reason, sometime just from sitting. I guess this is normal for third and fourth pregnancies, according to Dr. O'Connor.
  2. I am anemic and need to take iron pills for the remainder of the pregnancy
  3. The c-section will be scheduled sometime between July 17  thru 24. (I hope Baby Earl comes early as Vincenzo did.) I'll post it when I know the date I get.

pregnancy.... week 23

Andy and I have always had names for the boys while I was pregnant. Nothing that we seriously considered to legally name them, but just something to refer to them in the meantime.
  • Giuseppe was Guapo.
  • Vincenzo was George Monkey.
  • This baby has been referred to as Earl, from the sitcom "My Name is Earl."
16 weeks left of pregnancy. Earl will be scheduled for a c-section at the end of July. When I get the date I will post it.

Let's back up a bit

This is the month of my July babies. Both Giuseppe and Rocco were born in July. Let's back up a bit. Michigan is still in a State of E...
